… is an avid writer (who would’ve guessed?), but unfortunately, a rather slow reader. she’s very fond of park bench plaques with sweet messages and graffiti-ridden streets, because those are the kind of things that make the world feel poetic. a self-proclaimed dinner table comedian and old soul: she is a lover of rainy days and a hater of cynicism. she is also a huge fan of the semicolon and strong proponent of the oxford comma. though she’s got a degree in english & comparative literature and thus should be staunch about grammar, she likes improper capitalisation and indefinite subjects or interlocutors; and believes the word ‘and’ should be allowed to start sentences... and above all, she is a romantic.

literary hot take: fantastical world-building is overrated. we’ve got enough going on here on earth; there’s no need to build a new dimension or alternate reality to make your point.
poetry pet peeve: meaningless typography.
poetry fancies: juxtaposition of extremely detailed clauses and simple clauses.
