COHESION

& CHAOS

Though they appear as clear opposites, cohesion and chaos are never entirely separate states of being. Underneath the surface of perfect order can lie a chaotic underbelly. What looks outwardly chaotic can have a structure only known to those making the mess. Chaos can breed cohesion just as cohesion can unravel into chaos. After all, discord cannot exist without order. This month, these poets explored the relationship that exists in the fine space between cohesion and  chaos — because sometimes things have to fall apart in order to come together.
